Gather your team of 4 and battle in a race against other teams to put together a 500 piece jigsaw puzzle. However-this puzzle competition comes with a twist! In this event, you’ll be allowed to buy disadvantages for the other teams! Bring your friends, bring your family, and get ready for some raucous fun! You do not need to be an experienced puzzler to enjoy this event. Even the spectators can participate in slowing down your competition!

Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Each team will get to keep their puzzle. Register your team ASAP to secure your spot!

$50 per team - Proceeds are going directly to the Grand Rapids Women’s Rugby team (The Growlers)!

Teams of up to 4 players.

The competition starts at 6:00pm, so please arrive early. Check in begins at 5:45pm.

The puzzle will be kept a secret until the race begins!

How does it work? What are the rules?

• The system for disadvantages will be explained at the competition. Please be there by 6pm for the full run down. 

• Puzzles will be ready on your team’s table when you arrive. To keep the puzzle a secret, it will be secured in a paper bag.

• No early starts and no peeking!

• Hands only! The use of any puzzle tools, trays, cutting devices, phones, etc. is not allowed.

•Additional lighting (i.e. headlamps) is allowed

• When the race starts, rip open your bag and get to puzzling!

• Judges will be monitoring the puzzle arena and watching as teams get close to finishing. Be sure to yell “Growlers” when you are finished so we can record your time!

• Most importantly, have fun!!
